Settlements & Closings
Our Title Agents and support staff will make sure all closing documents are properly prepared and ready for your closing or refinance when you are schedulrd to sign on the dotted line. We can handle all types of closings from purchases, to second mortgages, to reverse mortgages and everything in between.
Real Estate Litigation
Smith Mountain Home Title is affiliated with the Stanley Law Group, a full service law firm that has vast experience in protecting the property rights of homeowners. The Stanley Law Group can serve as your real estate litigation attorney in land title and property line boundary disputes, claims of adverse possession, Home Owners’ Association disputes, and real estate breach of contract issues.
Title Searches
In order to transfer title and obtain a mortgage, a title search is required to ensure proper ownership. We are able to provide these types of searches:
